Fintastic Swimming

At Fintastic Swimming, I embrace innovation in creating life-saving skills for every child. Our journey stems from a profound dedication to equipping young swimmers with not just techniques, but the confidence to thrive in water. Let's transform the way swimming is perceived—empowering children to master their aquatic environment, ensuring safety like never before.

  • "We couldn’t be happier with our ISR swim instructor, Kylie! Over the 6-week program last summer, our 3-year-old and 5-year-old both transformed from hesitant splashers into confident swimmers with essential water survival skills. Kylie’s patient, structured approach made the lessons engaging and effective, tailoring techniques to each child’s age and personality. As parents, the peace of mind knowing our kids have the skills to float and swim to safety if needed, is priceless. Highly recommend this program and Kylie for any family with kids that are prioritizing water safety. "

  • "We have been swimming with Kylie for over a year now and my kids love every lesson with her! She is very attentive to each of my kids needs and strengths in the water. She is mindful when my highly anxious child is having a hard time and helps her through those emotions and build her confidence and skills. We highly recommend Kylie!"

  • "Kylie and fintastic swimming mean so much to our family! Our girls have life saving survival skills and they love swimming so much! If you do one thing for your baby let it be this, it’s the best investment we’ve made in our kids safety and our whole family is able to enjoy swimming together! I feel confident in my kids skills but also in my own confidence of safely swimming and taking multiple kids to the pool by myself. I really can’t recommend the program enough and Kylie was so kind and patient when teaching our girls they love her so much!"

About Kylie Lee

Welcome to the world of ISR! I’m so glad you’re here and considering this important step in your child’s water safety journey.

My name is Kylie Lee, a mom of three and a Certified ISR Instructor. Swimming has been part of my life since childhood. I completed ISR myself, spent over 15 years teaching and lifeguarding through the American Red Cross, and later chose ISR for my own children. Seeing the confidence and life-saving skills my kids gained inspired me to become an ISR instructor.

At Fintastic Swimming with Kylie, my goal is simple: to empower children with skills that can protect them for life. Every child’s journey is unique, and I’m honored to support families as their swimmers grow confident, capable, and safe in the water.

What We Teach

ISR Lessons

ISR’s unique results are achieved through fully customized, safe and effective, one-on-one lessons with only your child and the Instructor in the water. What your child will learn, and the way he or she will learn it, is what makes ISR so different from traditional swimming lessons. Always putting safety first, ISR emphasizes competence, which leads to confidence, and

Maintenance Lessons

After completing their ISR Self-Rescue skillset, maintenance lessons help students to maintain their skills and confidence throughout the year and can indicate readiness for skill advancement. They are single-day lessons that should be scheduled at intervals recommended by the instructor, ranging from a few times per week to once a month.

Refresher Lessons

After completing their initial ISR Self-Rescue skillset, refresher lessons are recommended every three to six months and are scheduled for two weeks, five days per week.  As children grow, their skills will need to be adjusted to their longer and heavier bodies. Refreshers are highly recommended to refine their skills as they’ve most likely hit developmental milestones since the last time they’ve been in lessons.
